World Nativity

For my inaugural post I'd like to highlight World Nativity, a family run venture that sells (at cost) hand crafted nativities from Artisans in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Here is just a tiny sample of the hundred odd nativities available on their website:

An awesome feature of ordering from World Nativity is they send you the picture and story of the artisan that crafted your nativity.
It's neat to see the person you are supporting. The artisans lives are greatly improved by the sale of their nativities as they work to support themselves.

Each piece uniquely weaves the native country's style and culture into the scene of the Holy Family. The prices range from $3 to $475. These beautiful nativities bring peace and a reminder of the Christ child during Christmas. Who do you know who might like one?

  1. What a fabulous idea for a blog. I am always interested in finding ways to help individuals that doesn't exploit them or abuse their abilities for the wealth of another. Thank you and I look forward to more posts!
